This is a Johnny Smith, Double Pickup guard. The single pickup version is also available (see last pic). This custom luthier hand-made guard is the highest quality currently available. Money refunded if you don't agree.
Multiple black - white binding. Five holes are pre-cut for the JSD model....it is ready to be installed.......your luthier has to drill the small screw hole (the location of those varies from guitar to guitar).
The zoom lense shows how well the craftsmanship holds up!
This guard is for a museum-quality JS from the 60's or 70's.
