The Taylor GS5-12 Grand Symphony is a 12-String acoustic guitar that combines the exceptionally warm and articulate tones of tropical mahogany with a Sitka spruce top. You get a guitar with wide dynamic range and mellow warm tone. The traditional acoustic guitar styling of the Taylor GS5-12 creates an elegant, understated look, but with the power and richness only a 12-string guitar can deliver.Though you might see similarities to a Grand Auditorium, the Grand Symphony guitar is unique in both sound and shape. Significant changes in its geometry yield a deeper more piano-like bass. A wider lower bout and higher, wider waist return ample volume and low-end sustain in symphony with fuller mids and balanced highs. The finish used to create this Taylor 12-string guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. more information »

The Pigtronix OFO Disnortion stomp box features a touch sensitive Overdrive, Fuzz with 6 different filters and frequency-doubling, Octava. Each effect is an original design and can each be used independently or in combinations to forge a tremendous range of musically responsive distortion sounds. The unique magic of the Pigtronix OFO Disnortion is parallel Fuzz and Overdrive, allowing you to pile on the gain without sacrificing clarity, dynamic response, punch or low end. Well voiced tone and shape controls allow you to focus each effect on its own frequency range. The Octava effects pedal is wired in series before the Overdrive and Fuzz, allowing the guitar pedal to produce a unique type of gated, gnarly grind that is absolutely devastating. A buffered output provides a clean signal for parallel processing or direct recording.Overdrive—There has never been an Overdrive quite like this. The Pigtronix Overdrive responds to the dynamics of your playing using a proprietary, 5-stage gain architecture that retains the natural tone of your instrument, while gradually breaking up as you play louder. The circuit is so touch sensitive, it has been described as " . . . more tube than tube." You must hear it to believe it! From clean or gritty boost right up through Plexi roar, the Pigtronix Overdrive is the most musical overdrive ever made.Fuzz—Massive gain, full-bodied sustain, and flexible tone shapes define the fuzz effect. Pigtronix's unique version of diode-clipping provides plenty of compression and controllable feedback while preserving the dynamics of your playing style. The rotary tone control switch provides 6 musical EQ curves: Bass, Scoop, Treble, Smooth, F.A.T., and Full Range. The Pigtronix fuzz can go from clean boost to hair raising, shred fisted, freak-out pandemonium! Octava—This frequency doubler effect makes the notes you play sound one octave up. A filter control allows you to achieve singing octave up tones without adjusti more information »

Not only do cigar box guitars have a great history, these little guys are a heck of a lot of fun to play. Each Daddy Mojo CBG (Cigar Box Guitar) has it's own unique personality; they are made by hand one at a time in Montreal, Canada. They're small, portable and almost indestructible... and let's face it, they're just plain cool!
This deluxe six string model features a maple neck (which is styled after the old time V neck profiles of the 1930's), a radiused rosewood fingerboard as well as a parlour style headstock. This model features a mini-humbucker in the bridge position, 25.7 scale and adjustable string height. These are typically setup for slide but it can be adjusted to comfortably play fingerstyle as well. Sacred Heart finish as well. more information »

The La Patrie Classical Left-handed Guitar has a solid cedar top, mahogany laminate back & sides, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, rosewood bridge with a compensated saddle, gold "lyra" style tuners with pearloid buttons, and semi-gloss satin finish. The Concert is La Patrie's top-of-the-line of the mahogany/cedar models. The Concert receives eight coats of lacquer that are buffed down to a highly responsive high gloss finish. This special process takes eight days to complete.800 Year Old Trees All LaPatrie guitars feature solid cedar tops. The wood used in these tops can be found only in cedar trees that have an average age of about 800 years. The tight, straight grain in this wood makes it strong in the direction of the string tension while at the same time flexible across the grain lines. It is this combination of rigidity and flexibility that give the top its resonance. The vibration of the guitar top is the most crucial element of the sound.Lacquer Finish LaPatrie guitars are finished with a special lacquer formula. This finish is light enough to allow the wood to breath and vibrate freely. The tops resonating capacity actually improves as the guitar is played over an extended period of time. This gradual improvement in the response of the top is often referred to as "aging". Poly finishes inhibit top vibration and are therefore never used on LaPatrie guitars. Many other guitars use a thick plastic finish that smothers top vibration and prevents the benefits of aging.Classics that are comfortable to play Classical guitars of the past have typically been made with thick neck dimensions, while this promoted a certain amount of neck stability, it often made certain playing aspects difficult to execute. It is for this reason that special attention was directed to the neck design of the LaPatrie guitars. Neck width and string spacing conform to classical standards, but a new truss rod system allows the profile of the neck to be redu more information »
