The JBL VRX918SP Subwoofer is designed and built to the same high standards and uses the same advanced, concert-proven drivers as their VerTec series. It's a flyable speaker that delivers extraordinary power handling, clarity, flexibility and, of course, stunning JBL sound in an attractive, easy to handle and affordable package. The JBL VRX918SP will fit perfectly in medium-sized venues that don't want to sacrifice sound quality just because they're not as big as other professional facilities. For compact power, the VRX918SP subwoofer delivers. The suspendable VRX918SP subwoofer system contains a 2265G-1 neodymium magnet, patented Differential Drive, and an 18" woofer in a front-loaded, vented enclosure. It was designed specifically for use in arrays with the VRX928LA Line Array speaker and VRX-SMAF Array Frame. In addition it may also be used in arrays consisting entirely of VRX918SP subwoofers. This JBL speaker system offers complete input connection flexibility, for compatibility with a variety of cabling schemes. A recessed, external switch allows selection of either contacts +1/-1 or +2/-2 to be routed to the woofer. Equally at home in ground stacked applications, it is equipped with a top-mounted, threaded, 20 mm socket that can receive the optional SS4-BK pole. This adjustable height pole can be used to mount speakers equipped with standard 36 mm pole sockets. The threaded socket minimizes buzzing and rattling and assures that the pole will be secure and straight. The VRX918SP subwoofer's enclosure is constructed of top quality birch plywood, coated in JBL's rugged DuraFlex finish, and is heavily braced to maximize low frequency performance. The attractive CNC-machined, 16-gauge steel grille is internally lined with acoustically transparent foam to provide additional driver protection, and give a very professional appearance. The rear of the enclosure is fitted with T-nuts, which may be used to attach the optional WK-4 caster kit. more information »

The T3 continues Taylor's quest to expand the range of tones available to the electric player. Inspired by both the Taylor T5 and the SolidBody, they've taken the classic semi-hollowbody sound and applied signature Taylor design and tonal touches, blending high-definition Style 2 pickups with coil-splitting capability to give players killer humbucker and single-coil sounds in one electric guitar. A push-pull tone knob brings two sweeping modes of tone control. What's great about the Taylor T3 is the way it enhances a semi-hollowbody's essential sound, transforming it into a hotrod guitar capable of a wider range of tones as a result of Taylor pickups, coil-splitting, and unique tone control. All on top of signature Taylor traits you can always count on, like superb intonation and easy playability.Pickups The T3 features a pair of full-size, Style 2 HD (high definition) humbuckers. A three-way switch covers three standard configurations: neck pickup, neck/bridge and bridge pickup. A twist was added using old-school coil-splitting. Pulling up on the volume knob splits the humbucker coils into single coils for brighter, punchier tones.Push/Pull Control Knobs The T3's volume and tone knobs both utilize push/pull pots, which give players two tiers of unique tone control. Pulling up on the volume knob activates a coil splitter, which in effect turns the humbuckers into single coils. The guitar's three-way switch functions the same way, allowing you to choose between full neck, neck/bridge and full bridge single coil tones. In its down position, the tone knob boosts the midrange. Pulling up the knob engages a second capacitor, which mellows the tone without squashing it into a muddy sound. Within that tonal range is a fresh Taylor electric voice: a mellow, old-school jazz tone that's loaded with warmth and fatness. And there's a lot of cool rock tones inbetween.Body/Neck Design The sapele T3 body is designed as a semi-hollowbody electric. Th more information »

The Montreal is the latest in a series of dual-voiced electric guitars from Godin that marry the sounds of traditional magnetic pickups with the saddle transducers in the bridge. The 2-chamber body is carved from a solid block of mahogany and capped with a carved solid mahogany top adorned with f-holes and cream binding. The 22-fret mahogany neck is shaped for exceptional comfort by Godin's ergocut technique, which leaves the back of the neck a comfortable modern C shape, while the front, fretboard edge, and frets are angled slightly in. The recessed pickups and bridge plus sculpted bolt-on neck joint make the Montreal Electric Guitar very comfortable. The 2 Godin humbuckers produce an extensive range of sounds thanks to a special 5-way switch that provides 5 distinct tones. Add in the L.R. Baggs transducers loaded in the bridge saddles and the palette of sounds becomes infinite. 2 separate outputs are set up so that the electric and acoustic voices can be blended in the guitar using a single patch cord or at the amp/mixer using both outputs. The Montreal guitar hardware is black and gold. Montreal is a great city, and it becomes that much cooler during its annual Jazz Festival. The city's love affair with jazz inspired the Montreal's creation. Jazz and blues players will love the way the Godin Montreal Electric Guitar sounds and feels. more information »

The DiMarzio DP175 True Velvet is a vintage-style single-coil pickup that's clean and bright. The True Velvet pickup gives your high strings sweet sound above the 12th fret. The DiMarzio True Velvet was designed to make this happen by tuning the coil to a frequency range that's bright but not thin. DiMarzio combines this with a magnet stagger specifically designed to enhance string balance, which produces great clarity, even with full chords. The neck and middle models have the same specs except for reverse wind / reverse polarity on the middle pickup for hum cancellation in the 2 and 4 positions. The bridge pickup is just a touch warmer and louder, so the transition between pickup positions is very smooth and natural. The DiMarzio DP175 single coil pickup comes standard with hand-ground magnets and vintage cloth covered wire. more information »
