The Swiss-made Schertler UNICO Acoustic Instrument Amplifier delivers unrivalled amplified reproduction of your acoustic instrument. Three Input Channels, each with its own adjustable Gain Control, allow connection of a wide variety of instruments and microphones. The Basson B212 Guitar Cabinet produces as much volume as many 4-12" half stacks. It shares the 150-watt power rating of many 4-12" cabinets, but the difference is in the box. The enclosure's joints and speakers are silicone sealed to obtain consistent air volume. This creates an air spring that the speakers respond to with less distortion at high volume levels. With other cabs "woofing" is caused by distorted low end, which is inevitable for unsealed or open-back cabinets (the speaker travels too far when driven). Consequently, clear mids and clean highs cannot be produced while the speaker is struggling.
