The Superdrive Series II amplifier line is hand crafted in the US and represents 10 years of fine- tuning the rocking Budda circuit. The response has been overwhelming from artists like the Foo Fighters, and Joe Bonamassa, the Superdrive delivers a unique tone the pros depend on. Our two-channel preamp offers three stages of gain designed to enhance the harmonic structure of each note. The volume level of each string is perfectly balanced so that you hear each note distinctively in a chord as well as soloing. The eq section is simple yet complex in its ability to alter the signal similar to a graphic equalizer, accentuating the natural harmonics of your guitar and pickup. The pull modern feature found on our mid control adds mid range scoop as well as bottom end and top end accentuation for aggressive attack and bite. The Superdrive 45 represents years of research culminated into the design of the ultimate KT66 Bluesbreaker style amp. Our task was to modernize the JTM-45 and Clapton-era Bluesbreaker and put the Budda magic on it. The bite and complex overtones of our KT66 circuit puts this amp in the realm of a newly discovered tone. The upper mid range bite combined with the tube rectifier sag makes for a very expressive amplifier, super sensitive to touch and pick attack. We've included a switch able solid state rectifier for those who like to tighten up the attack time and bass response of the amp.
