The brand new Blueberry Groove Guitar (patent pending) has hundreds of hand-carved grooves on the top on back in carefully selected acoustic panels,creating a resonance never before heard or felt on an acoustic guitar. We introduced the GROOVE at the summer NAMM show in Nashville on June 18th,2008 and the many musicians who came to our booth became addicted to this guitar and kept returning to play it - in the 90 hours that the NAMM show was open, the guitar was played for 85 hours by Groove addicts. There are many really great things about this guitar. Due to the hundreds of hand carved grooves, the whole guitar comes alive when it is played, and the resonance makes this guitar sound like a dreadnought while being the size of a concert guitar. The grooved fret indicators on the neck (patent pending) allow for musicians to become intimate with the fretboard without looking at it. This guitar is unbelievably light and sounds exceptionally clear and sweet - better than any other of our guitars - and it may just be the greatest sounding guitar ever built. The first Groove Guitars are Grand Concert models exactly as pictured - with a Canadian Cedar top, Mahogany sides and back, African Ebony fretboard and headstock and a nut and saddle made of bone. There is an adjustable double action truss rod that uses a 5/32 Allan key in this guitar. Spectacular Sound with just a bit more edge. Lindy Fralin Special Wind P 92's, Humbucked but pure single coil sound, bring this guitar to life. Lindy winds this set so that the guitar absolutley rings. We use a Gotoh wrap around ajustable bridge, that is perfect for hanging onto the tone and simple and easy to set-up. Once done, its done, stays that way. Tuners Gotoh's premium 3 x 3 tuners, full chrome drops, are beautiful to look at and a dream to use, with an 18:1 ratio. The tuners have unique permanent Lubri-Plate™ coating on the gears assures consistent lubrication without grease, for smoother tuning. Gotoh's new Rock-Solid™ string posts eliminate looseness for better tuning stability, they stay in tune! Neck Ebony fingerboard with 22 frets and 25 1/2" scale, 1.71" wide @ nut, 2.22" wide @ 22nd fret. The tilt-back headstock eliminates the need for a string tree and provides crisper open notes. We use a graphite nut which incorporates Teflon and match the grooves to each guitar's intonation. This makes the guitar exceptionable playable. A diamond ground fingerboard is accurate to within one thousandth of an inch for super low string action. Hard alloy precision medium jumbo frets are .103 wide and .048 tall. The neck is a wonderful balance between thickness and speed, we use a radius that is on our opinon the best for feel and for functionality. The neck is painted black, with three coats of black paint then seven thin coats of clear, that is wet sanded and buffed after each coat. The guitar offered is a unique handmade and hand carved Blueberry Acoustic Grand Concert guitar serial number GC0803201 with intricate carvings of Dragons. This guitar was delicately hand made under the supervision and guidance of master American Luther and Educator, George Morris and Master Balinese Wood Carver Wayan Tuges. The highest quality specially selected woods that were chosen specifically for their sound, resonance, beauty and acoustic characteristics and this guitar has gone through a rigorous series of quality control checks before it was given a serial number and offered for sale. The sound of each Blueberry guitar is unique and our guitars are known to produce extraordinary volume and clarity while at the same time being incredibly light and very easy to play. It takes the combined skills of both a master Luthier and a Master Carver over 60 days to produce each Blueberry guitar. This guitar was completed on March 20th, 2008 and is our 164th guitar. There is a fingerprint of the Master Balinese Wood Carver on the inside label to certify its authenticity. The top is Canadian Cedar. The back and sides are Tasmanian Black Wood and the neck is a combination of Ebony, and Mahogany. The bridge, fret board and headstock are Ebony and the fret board inlay of a Dragon is Jack Wood. The Rosette is carved Ebony. The nut and saddle are bone. All Blueberry Guitars are made with solid woods and use standard wood thicknesses - we do not use thicker woods to adjust for the carvings. more information »

Petros acoustics built with 120 year old Redwood from tunnel 13, built in the 1880's and the site of The Last Great American Train Robbery. The amazing timbers used in this tunnel were from virgin, old growth redwood trees that were up to 2500 years old. A fire in the tunnel in 2004 caused the tunnel to cave in and Petros got some of the salvage.
