The delay is based on the now out of production DM-2 circuit. That was the starting point for the design. It features delay time, level and repeat controls, as well as a tone control which alters the flavour of the repeats ( hi-cut filter). The unit uses two 4096 stage BBDs providing a max delay time of 600ms with quiet operation, (no clock noises or hiss). The unit is housed in a die cast enclosure with 4 control knobs and two footswitches. One footswitch selects effect/bypass ( true bypass), and the secondary footswitch allows selection between a short and long delay path (~300ms and ~600ms). This enables finer control over the short delay range; effectively a delay and slapback selection at your foot. more information »

This posting is for an MXR Custom Compressor in Near Mint Condition. It has only been used twice at home and kept in storage in my house. It includes all original packaging and velcro added to the back as seen in the pictures. It's also True Bypass!

The Box of Metal is an aggressive high-gain pedal with a highly-effective built-in switchable gate which dramatically reduces noise and unwanted feedback. Its gain and tonal characteristics are somewhat similar to high-gain tube amplifiers that have been the staple of hard rock and metal sounds since the 80's. On the right, there is a true- bypass switch with an indicator LED to bypass the entire effect. On the left is a gate switch which is only effective when the pedal is on. When the gate's LED is ON, it will be active whenever the pedal is turned on. The gate is very useful for cleaning up any noise between palm-muted chords and lead phrases, but may be switched off to initiate feedback or to stretch out soloed notes that are fading into noise.
