Feast your eyes on this magnificent pedal. Straight and to the point - its a Dumble in a box! This is the weapon of choice for a lot of Texas session players.
XTS Custom Pedals Precision Overdrive is designed to feel and react like a real tube amp overdriving. Roll down your guitar volume and the pedal cleans up turn up the volume on your guitar and the pedal saturates just like those magical tube amps of the 50s and 60s. This overdrive is very touch sensitive and the Gain has been shaped to work with the guitars volume control to allow the player to adjust the amount of overdrive right from the guitar.
This aint your fathers 808 the Precision Overdrive has been engineered to have almost twice the gain of most standard overdrive pedals. The Precision Overdrive walks the fine line between being an overdrive and distortion pedal. With the Gain control set at 3 Oclock and beyond the pedal has enough saturation to compete with many distortion pedals while still maintaining the touch sensitivity that many guitar players demand.
In contrast, the Precision Overdrive can be used as a great boost pedal. With the Gain control set below 9-Oclock and lower, depending on how much gain you want, and the Volume control set to taste - the pedal has enough output to be used as a clean boost. The Precision Overdrive is very versatile and can get as much gain or as much clean headroom as you need for your application. All you have to do is tweak the knobs and dial in your sound. This is not a typical overdrive pedal it has more overall volume and gain than your typical screamer - so you may have to adjust your settings in contrast to what you have used in the past. Dial it in and let it rip it has the versatility to allow you to dial in your own signature sound.
