Effects can be edited via front-panel knobs or you can get all modern and use the graphic software that pictures stomp boxes and effects on your computer screen as you drag them around and adjust parameters with your mouse (Mac or PC). Coolest yet, the same USB hookup that lets you edit from a computer, also lets you use the GS10 as the ultimate front end for guitarists who want to enter the world of hard disk recording. (You can even use it for "re-amping" your recorded sounds since it's two way!). The Boss GS-10 comes bundled with Cakewalk Music Creator software (PC only) for all the tools you need to do multi-track recording. Now those built-in speakers come in real handy for zero-latency monitoring with effects when recording, something a lot of very expensive hard disk recorders can't offer. The Boss GS-10 includes a Guitar/Bass input, XLR Mic input, stereo Aux input and S/PDIF output. A unique box that offers the complete environment for the modern guitarist to create sounds.
