I?m pretty much in love with this pedal, so forgive me if I seem to be up my own ass about it. ECT is the result of my wish to rectify a few issues I?ve had with other fuzz boxes, notably a mid scoop. ?But Old Pal Aen, some times I need to scoop teh midz for my metal tonez!? While I can?t say that I ever find that useful, ECT will do that as well. When stomping on the ?BYPASS? switch, you will be in familiar fuzzbox territory. Volume, Tone, and Distortion are all active, as well as the ?TIMEWARP? toggle, which flips between the traditional hi-fi type sound and a more blunted, ummm, stoner-rocky type sound. (A note: if your amp has a lot of treble rolled off, you may not hear much difference between the time warp positions. Because you have your amp set up wrong.) ?TONEBLAST? bypasses the tone control, giving you more mids and a bunch more volume. At any time, you can tap the ?feedback? stomper to trigger a momentary integrated feedback loop, because I like noise, so back off, it?s cool. ?Trim? allows you to roll back your input signal, incase of muddiness caused by hotter pickups. This has the most bass (well, it?s a tie with Hair of the Dog) of any DC Device. It is amazing on bass guitar. more information »

Wallace Abaddon MV Amplifier $1,800.00

The Abaddon amp is a single channel, four gain stage preamp master volume amplifier that has the ability to go from massive distortion to beautiful cleans with the twist of your guitars volume. The front panel setup is Drive, Gain, Master Volume and the standard tone layout, Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence. The Drive control is just that, it allows you to adjust how hard the initial signal hits the front end of the amp. The Gain control allows you to set the amount of gain after the Drive circuit. This allows an incredible amount of control over the overall gain structure of this amp. Also, setting either control at ten and the other on three, and vise versa, will give different tonal textures to the overdriven sound. This flexibility of the preamp allows a variety of sounds from beautiful cleans to plexi tone to over the top distortion. The Master volume controls the overall volume of the amp, of course the louder this is set, the better things get. This is the amp that is currently being played by Greg Gdaniec of Deep Cut. Chris Webster of Kilacel fame is the most recent endorser of the Abaddon amp. Chris was kind enough to send me a demo cut of Launch the Dog. Myself (Adam Grimm, owner of Satellite Amplifiers) and a good friend of mine (Eric Sorensen, http://www.espwave.com decided to create a collaborative project to give something back to the world. I have a few of Eric's paintings and really enjoyed his work, and thought it would be wonderful on an amplifier. I sent Eric one of our standard Helion model amplifiers and an uncovered head box. He asked me what I wanted, and I told him I didn't want to know. I wanted him to have free creative rein to do whatever he wanted to do. He did a marvelous job. The amplifier is one of our standard Helion models. It is a 25 watt all tube amplifier. It consists of a pair of 5881 power tubes, a pair of 12AX7s in the preamp section and a 5AR4 rectifier (switchable to solid state). The amp comes with high and low inputs, and a switchable 4, 8, and 16Ω outputs. The amp uses Mercury Magentics transformers (as do all of our amplifiers), turret board and point to point wiring, carbon comp resistors.
