McPherson MG-3.5: This 3.5 size has become the most popular size that McPherson Guitars builds. The depth at the tail is 3.5", but the depth at the neck block of all McPherson guitars is the same. So this size gives you a nice taper toward the tail which makes it extremely comfortable to hold. This guitar features Indian Rosewood back and sides with a wonderful Port Orford Cedar top. This cedar is so stiff it is nearly like having a spruce top. So you get the warm, transparent sound of Cedar with the stiffness of spruce - fantastic! Curly koa body, fretboard and soundhole bindings. LR Baggs RTSII active pickup with volume control wheel in the soundhole. Gold Schaller tuning machines. MOP headstock logo.
