Thanks for looking at our Vintage acoustic guitars we have for sale. Here is a Vintage Pre War, 1940 Martin D 18 that is just a superb instrument and sure to make you the envy of all your picking circles. Appears to have a replaced bridge , but it is not known for sure, The bridge plate has ebony bushings to hold string balls in place and not damage the plate. Small treble side bout crack ( almost unnoticable without a black light) Adirondack spruce top,Scalloped bracing, Mahogany back,sides and neck. Ebony fingerboard,Brazilian rosewood peghead veneer,nickel plated open back Grover tuners,nitrocellulose tortoise pick guard and outer body binding all typical specifications for the year and model. Pre War Martin, oh yea baby.... Owned by recording artist.
