SKU: GS3059067 First, the issues:
Neck has been re-set and finish has started checking badly - treated with lemon oil - neck is very playable but gradually rises toward body (3/8" @ 14th fret). Non-original bridge. Heel of neck is broken off where it meets the body (appx. 3/4") but has no effect on sound or playability.
Now the good news:
Kluson Deluxe tuners (middle stripe)and this guitar sounds GREAT! It is very loud with the medium gauge strings, top is SOLID SPRUCE, back & sides, maple, probably laminateed.
These guitars are more popular than ever because they're original, 1950s, all wood instruments made in the USA. Since it has issues, I'm offering it for $200. Everything can be fixed as much as you want to put into it. As is, it's just a great old historical instrument.
