The redwood Music Man StingRay is an electric bass with powerful tone and an undeniable coolness factor. Introduced in 1976, the Music Man StingRay was the first bass to feature active electronics and advancements such as a 6-bolt neck joint, superior neck truss-rod system, and rock-solid bridge. These are still features which keep the StingRay bass at the head of the pack. This 4-string StingRay bass has an ash body with redwood top, maple neck, Schaller BM tuners, 3-band active EQ, and Music Man humbucking pickups. more information »

Designed by Ned Steinberger himself, it features the unique U-channel graphite core in a rock maple neck and maple body. Combo head accommodates double-ball and single-ball strings while the unique direct-drive double-ball bridge adds super-fast string changes and tune-it-once tuning stability. While other guitar manufacturers have been resting on their laurels, Steinberger's been thinking. Witness the strap hook, recessed tool holder and output jack, fold-down leg rest, and phenolic fingerboard that's slick as butter and fast as lightning.Low-impedance EMG USA bass pickup with internal low-impedance preamp and piezo bridge extends the range on both ends for earth-moving lows and phenomenal transients from slap-style playing. more information »

The Fender American Standard Series Jazz Bass has a vintage body radius and contour for a classic vibe and feel. The Jazz Bass's body is rendered in premium alder for optimum tone and sustain. Its rosewood or maple fretboard features detailed nut- and fretwork. The neck is graphite-reinforced and has rolled edges for a broken-in feel from the get-go. HMV Bridge (high mass vintage) increases sustain, provides punchier tone, beefier looking plates and 3/8" diameter vintage saddles. String height adjustment screws have nylon patches for a tight fit that won't vibrate loose.A 12-gauge cold rolled steel plate machined brass backstop increases mass and enhances top end. Socket head intonation screws are engineered for a tighter fit, and are now more stable. The J Bass features Fender®/Hipshot® tuning keys. They work great, and are 30% lighter, minimizing neck dip. Classic 20:1 tuning ratio, cast zinc with aluminum string posts and mounting nuts, and steel clovers. Brass worm gears, steel worm drives. With a thinner undercoat, the Fender Jazz Bass body breathes easier and has improved sound (more wood influence).
