The Cherry Bomb is an expertly crafted four string machine that you simply can not find anywhere else. There are obviously plenty of cigar box guitars out there but sometimes it seems as though they all start to look the same if you stare long enough. There is nothing out there that looks like this!
Every part of this guitar is hand made. From the custom Ted Crocker single coil Stonehenge pickup, to the hand carved custom four string Purpleheart bridge, right down to the hand made Mara wood jackplate, this guitar has been a woodworker’s dream. The cherry wood humidor is just icing on the cake at this point.
The sound of this guitar is just ridiculous. I’ve had a very difficult time putting it down since I strung it up. This guitar has a standard tone and volume pot but you can get it with many different wiring schems as well as different and/or multiple pickups (including humbucker – Ted does it all).
