Just in is a Taylor Presentation Series Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. According to manufacturer the L4 stands for Cocobolo, and this particular model comes with the Taylor Expression System.
As you can see in the pictures there is abalone everywhere, but especially on the fingerboard where Taylor kicks it up a notch with this intricate ?Byzantine? abalone inlay. To complement the fingerboard inlay design, Taylor carries the abalone theme throughout the body of the guitar with abalone purfling in the front , back and a beautiful abalone rosette swimming in the front of the guitar. As an added bonus the bridge also gets a Mother of Pearl inlay treatment.
Moving on from its magnificent looks, we see this particular model being built with Cocobolo and decorated with Sap woods, add to that a mahogany neck, Taylor ebony tuner buttons and you got yourself a guitar in a league of its own.
The Taylor Expression system is perfectly balanced to capture this guitar?s uniqueness and deliver an amazingly clean amplified sound perfect for any size audience.
