Designed to be flashy and versatile, the Mach IV electric guitar offers more than just eye appeal; it doles out a good variety of tones and boasts good workmanship. A flipped over body, sweet finish, pearloid and chrome components, and groovy racing stripes (except on the all-white model) make it look like a cross between a '50s dining set and a classic sports car. The star-shaped inlays match the pearloid overlays nicely. The solid stop tailpiece bridge is adjustable for intonation. The construction is good, with a tight four-bolt neck joint and lustrous finish. The electronics assembly and components are solid, especially for an instrument in this price range. The tone controls and output jack are grounded via a metal-foil plate attached to the pickguard's underside, and the Mach IV is quiet.Basic in its tone-shaping components - a tone knobs, a volume knob, and pickup selector - the Mach IV is surprisingly versatile. The neck-pickup is placed at an angle only about 3/8" away form the end of the slanted fingerboard, yielding a good variety of sounds. The Mach IV sounds slightly boxy with a prominent midrange and grinding top end. Blending pickups results in a full-bodied tone that works well in many styles. The Mach IV is the perfect 'attitude guitar' for surf, punk, or just about anything that requires being noticed. Flashy? You bet. Good-sounding? That too. Make sure your chops and wardrobe are up to it, you're going to be in the spotlight. more information »

This guitar is a lean, mean rockin' machine! Totally built for speed, the body design is timeless, lightweight and contoured with a fat 50s neck.Created by legendary Automotive designer Ray Dietrich, with his perfectly formed, innate sense of balance and design. Dietrich designed the Firebird with mid 50s car tailfins in mind. He took the Explorer design and rounded the edges. And, to complete the look he placed the Firebird "on the hood". The tone is very punchy and will rip your head off when cracked through a Marshall and has just the right amount of twang played clean. The Firebird has been described as a "Stratocaster on steroids" - not a bad take, as the pickups are clean and edgy, brighter than most Gibson humbuckers, but still more powerful than most Fender pickups. This guitar is phenomenal! It has the look, sound and character that will be great for stage or studio. It is also extremely rare, and collectable. This guitar is brand new and comes complete with the Certificate of Authenticity from the Gibson Custom Shop and hardshell case.
The Firebird is the first Gibson solid-body to use neck-through construction, wherein the neck extended to the tail end of the body. The neck itself is made up of five plies of mahogany interspersed with four narrow strips of walnut for added strength. This guitar features the reverse headstock (with the tuners on the treble side) and "banjo" tuning keys, as well as mahogany wings and nickel hardware.

The Schecter Damien 6 Electric Guitar was built on Schecter's popular Classic "C" body style and it's the perfect hard rock guitar. The EMG H4 bridge and H4A neck pickups rock out some killer tone, and the rock maple neck has a rosewood fretboard with extra-jumbo frets so you can pound out face-shredding leads.
