Raw, cutting Rock tones to warmed up Funk. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a traditional soapbar, and the middle and neck pickups are slightly cleaner. The P-90 bite you'ld expect, plus positions 2 and 4 on the 5-way selector delivers classic Qwack, but with a thicker tonality and midrange presence.
The guitar features lightweight, resonant mahogany and solidbody construction with a raised center section on the front. Thicker center mass improves clarity and sustain, while the thinner wings increase resonance for an instrument that is lively, clear, and rich in harmonics.

Distinctive features include a mahogany back with weight-relief chambers, the Peter Frampton custom slim neck profile, and three Gibson humbuckers: '57 Classic (neck), '57 Classic Plus (middle), and 500T (bridge). The 3-way pickup selector is wired so the middle pickup is always on and can combined with front or rear pickups.
