This 2010 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1957 Reissue is latest and the greatest to come out of the Gibson Custom Shop. This guitar is 100% MINT UNPLAYED AS NEW, and comes complete with the Gibson Historic hardshell case, COA, hang tags, CTS pots and Burstbucker pickups times 2, which are the closest yet to the original PAFs! This guitar is very rare and unique, in that it has a Bigsby Vibrato and a Gold GLOSS finish, just like a brand new 1957 Les Paul would have had back in 1957! It's like going back in time to 1957 and bring back and perfect treasure! This guitar really has the MOJO! She's FAT, POWERFUL and LIGHTWEIGHT, weighing 9 lbs 2.5 oz. That's really light too, considering the extra hardware. This guitar is SUPER RESONANT, a TONE MONSTER AND A TRUE BEAUTY! Perfect and polished! This guitar features a SOLID MAHOGANY BACK AND NECK, a carved maple top and a classy Antique Gold Gloss finish, every detail just as it was in the '50s. She has an early 50s rounded neck profile that measures .922" at the 1st fret and 1.002" at the 12th and a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard based on a 12" radius with a 24 3/4" scale length, and a nut width of 11 1/16". Neck inlays exactly the same as the original trapezoid design, and the binding on the neck is narrow, just as it was in the '50s. This guitar has the Holly Head Veneer, Non-Weight Relieved Body and an EXTRA LONG NECK TENON, combined with the separate bridge/tailpiece ABR-1 stop tailpiece and Burstbucker pickups which yields better sustain and quieter yet more powerful tone. This guitar sounds like a CANNON with a huge midrange honk!
