This guitar is the latest and the greatest Gibson has to offer. Finished in Sunrise Tea, this burst reminds me of the cover burst on Yasuhiko Iwanade's Burst book. This is indeed a beautiful burst with an incredible flame! Perfectly book-matched tiger flame with just the right amount of flecking in the wood. It's this kind of raw wood, "the good wood" that captured the mojo of the legendary Les Paul Standard! Found in less than 1 in 1,000 trees, this kind of figured Maple is very hard in texture and reflective, capturing stress between the flames of grain and producing a loud, powerful projective sound. This guitar is extremely resonant and extremely light, weighing in at 8 lbs 13.5 oz. She's light on your back and powerful with tons of that mid range GROWL! The neck measures .817 at the 1st fret and .940 at the 12th. She's super fast with the perfect '60's slim neck profile, rounded for comfort and feel. This guitar has a beautiful dark Mahogany back that's just as nice as the top! Deep, dark and dangerous!Polished to a high gloss, this guitar is PERFECT! It's like going back in time to 1960 and bringing back a brand new 1960 Sunburst Les Paul Standard.
