Limited Time "Lefty".
For a limited time only, PRS Guitars� flagship model � the Custom 24 � is available to order as a left-handed instrument. The Custom 24 is the original PRS�the guitar Paul took to his first tradeshow in 1985. It is a perennial favorite with musicians, and we are happy to offer a version for our left-handed friends.
The �Lefty� Custom 24 features a maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, �old school� abalone bird inlays, our redesigned 5-way blade switch, which offers a dual humbucker option for the first time, and 59/09 treble and bass pickups with our contoured bobbins (new for 2012) that arc with the strings for a more spread out, open tone.

Position Two: Bridge humbucker with neck singlecoil, in parallel
Position Three: Bridge and neck humbuckers

And PRS Guitars� new �V12� finish does just that. Introduced at Experience PRS 2010, �V12� is a very thin, hard, and clear finish that will not crack or react with thinners. After roughly 12 years in development, it is halfway between acrylic and nitro but with a classic feel all its own. �PRS models with this new finish feel like old instruments,� said Paul Reed Smith.
