Here is another great Phoenix Rising model from McNaught. This time it has a Diamond Quilt maple top with a natural Clear finish that really shows off the depth of this amazing top. It is equipped with all Gold hardware with the body and neck bound in Quilt Maple. The headstock has matching Quilt Maple and comes with Gold Sperzel Locking tuners.
The fretboard is done in Indian Rosewood with artfully done Mother of Pearl Pyramid shaped inlay. This guitar comes with a solid set neck that securly attaches the neck to the body. Some manufacturers offer varying degrees of a set neck instead of bolting the neck on, but the length and size of a McNaught neck can only be described as massive, and the amount of sustain and tone you get is a direct result.
This instrument is equipped with Duncan Antiquity pickups and an LR Baggs Piezo acoustic system with preamp. This combination provides all kinds of sonic variation and allows you to easily switch or blend the electric and acoustic tones for just the right sound you are looking for.
