This amazing re-creation with Maestro Tailpiece includes pickups and long neck tenon modeled precisely on the original. The VOS aging treatment makes it look exactly like a vintage original instrument that's been treated with loving care for its whole life. With its ultra-thin, double-cutaway body, the SG was lighter than the Les Paul and allowed freer access to the upper register both features that rockers immediately appreciated. This reissue guitar features a mahogany body, Maestro tailpiece, 1960 slim-taper neck profile, vintage tulip tuners, and '57 Classic humbucking pickups all features of the original Gibson SG.
