SQUARENECK - A very nice, newly designed, squareneck resonator guitar from Regal. Classic body shape made with mahogany back & sides, spruce top, and a square mahogany neck, all in a natural gloss finish. There are dual screened soundholes with three small port holes in between, a solid peghead with fancy inlay and chrome, sealed-geared tuning machines, and a dot-inlaid rosewood fretboard. Fan style coverplate and tailpiece are chrome plated. Body, neck and headstock are all bound. Neck width @ nut is ~2"; scale length is ~25-1/8." The sound is generated by an aluminum cone with cast aluminum spider bridge and hard maple bridge inserts atop a "power reflex" sound chamber.
