There are dual screened soundholes with three small port holes in between, a solid peghead with fancy inlay and chrome, sealed-geared tuning machines, and a dot-inlaid rosewood fretboard. Fan style coverplate and tailpiece are chrome plated. Body, neck and headstock are all bound. Neck width @ nut is ~1-3/4." The sound is generated by an aluminum cone with cast aluminum spider bridge and hard maple bridge inserts atop a "power reflex" sound chamber. URC30271 About 40 years ago, my friend Joel Tepp and I came across one of these exquisite four piece Walnut back Dobros. We weren't really sure what it was, but we bought it anyway. When we took it to Ed, Rudy and John at Dobro, they all gathered 'round and were quite proud that they had made such a beautiful instrument. Since that time, this is the only other one we have ever seen with such a beautiful Walnut back.
