SKU: GS3041469 Welcome, you are looking at one of the rarest resonators out there! This is the 1930's National Duolian Resonator! Serial #: 769. 25" scale. 1.75" nut width. 10" cone. 14" bottom bout. 3 1/8" deep. 14 frets to body. This is the real deal folks- I've never seen another one like it! The steel body paired with the mahogany neck make for some exceptionally resonant tones! The neck has a chunky V profile very comfortable! Picking this axe up is like going through a timewarp- you can really feel the history here! Over the past 70+ years, a lot of songs have been played on this beauty! This Duolian made it to us through 2 world wars in fine shape and a story to tell! The powdercoat finish is pewter- some wear but beautiful overall! Action is 5/16" at the 12th fret low E. There is some neck relief, moderate fret wear- and the bridge slots are worn- to be expected of an example of this vintage- but this resonator still plays amazing and has that tone you won't find anywhere else! This is your chance to get your hands on one of the rarest National's out there! Perfect for the collector or player! $2899.95 or best offer! Includes hardshell case!
