This beautiful Ampeg Baby Bass comes with the original bag and newer upright stand. I won't say this bass is MINT, but there are no major scratches, no body or neck warping, and is ALL ORIGINAL.
I've seen a few red ones, and I've even seen a red one that was spray painted black (even over the bridge), but this is the first sunburst, more of a 2-color tobacco, that I've had the pleasure of coveting. The bridge and tailpiece are in near perfect condition. The bright chrome bridge really sets off the whole bass.
As for the year, I can only speculate. The previous owner purchased it new, around the same time as the Englehardt upright in the pictures (also for sale). The Englehardt was purchased in April 1969.
