Vintage 20's C.F. Martin Style 2k Soprano Ukulele. 13.75" scale. 1 7/16" nut width. 6.25" bottom bout. 2 5/8" deep. This is a beautiful example of early handmade C.F. Martin.
Gorgeous figured Koa top, back, & sides. This is not only exceptionally beautiful but also produces big warm tone and excellent projection. The one piece mahogany neck has a comfortable flat profile. Couple these together and you have yourself a sonorous instrument. The Grover 'flanged barrel' machines have the grained ivory pegs, bar frets, and lack of a headstock decal all date this to mid to late 20's. The 6 ply rosette, multiply body binding, and gorgeous figured Koa give this impressive aesthetics.
Pre-1930's in remarkable shape for it's age. Ivory tuning pegs, rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl inlay. Do not have case, can email pictures upon request. It sounds like what angels must sound like... Make offer more information »
