Excellent Original Condition 1922 Martin AK Koa Wood Mandolin. Rosewood binding, 20 fret ebony fingerboard, bar frets with small dot inlays, clamshell tailpiece. Newly completed fret work and set up with new strings. Great sounding flat back mando with a tight clear punchy sound - great for Old Time / Bluegrass / Celtic styles.
Comes with original Canvas Trap Case in very good original condition. Headstock personalized by original owner with glazed over transfer letter initials ("H.C.D." - as shown) and a small strap hole - both reversable if you feel the need.
Ser #9868, Stamped C.F. Martin & Co Nazareth, PA on back of headstock and inside backstrip.
