The Audix TR-40 is a test and measurement microphone that employs a 1/4" pre-polarized condenser capsule with an omni-directional polar pattern. You get an ultra-smooth, linear frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz. The DK25/L is for live performance and includes three SR25 microphones: two for overheads and one for kick drum, a KickPad, and a windscreen. The patented cardioid pattern on the SR25 mic provides a more uniform off-axis response and has less susceptibility to acoustic feedback.
