The Electro-Harmonix EH-C5 FET Condenser Microphone uses a dual-diaphragm EH-TM capsule but with a different head and body construction than the EH-C@ model. The vertical, double-sided open position of the capsule and preamplifier design are designed to work with numerous sound sources to maximum effect. As a result the EH-C5 sounds great with vocals, grand pianos, guitars, and percussion among many other sources, and gives presence and warmth to lead parts in the mix. It walks a fine line by remaining very sensitive yet handling very high SPLs with a low noise floor, allowing straight-to-digital recording with pure sound. Frequency response: 20Hz—20kHz. Requires phantom power. more information »

EC-, sunburst finish spruce top with X-bracing, sunburst flamed maple back and sides, 14-fret mahogany neck, tortoise plastic firestripe pickguard, 19-fret Brazilian rosewood fretboard with fancy Nick Lucas varied-pattern inlays, rectangular Brazilian rosewood bridge, black peghead with pearl script "Gibson" logo and fleur-de-lis, w-b-w double-bound body and fretboard, w-b-w soundhole rosette, offset "GROVER PAT." banjo tuners with ivoroid buttons, cream-colored bridge pins, 14-3/4" lower bout, 22-25/32" scale, 1-5/16" nut width, 4-1/4" to 4-5/8" deep body depth, large round label on inside of back with photo of Nick Lucas in tuxedo with his signature model guitar. Sounds great. And can you spell R-A-R-E? As a 6-string the Nick Lucas Model is rare, but as a 4-string (and especially in maple) it is virtually non-existent. We have heard of only one other maple NL 4-string. With red-line black OHSC (green lining, small hole in the case in the endpin area, replacement handle) (SN:94561) (Tenor/Plectrum Instruments) more information »

The Shaker WSB (We Survived Bush) has been designed to be Shaker's most affordable crystal microphone, voiced specifically for harmonicas. It's a great blues tool, hard-wired with a 10-foot cable and a 1/4" plug, and it can even act as a great back up mic. It's a great beginner mic that's easy on the wallet, yet gives professional performance and awesome tone, along with great feedback rejection. The mic is extremely economical, has hot crystal element, is voiced to cut through other sounds, has a clear and aggressive tone, and is ergonomically designed to be very easy to hold. Shaker Harmonica Microphones are part of a sophisticated music making system, one that includes the harmonica, the player's hands, the microphone, the amp, and the player's personal techniques. Traditional methods of measuring response and behavior become pretty much irrelevant because Shaker's don't fit strictly into the established categories of polar patterns. By using a sampling of the harmonica's sound and directing it through acoustic ports into a volume-tuned chamber, Shaker mics become, in essence, miniature hand-held recording studios. This is known as Shaker GNS technology, or good noise sampling, resulting in great tone, extreme technique sensitivity, and tremendous feedback. Designed and engineered by Shakey Joe, these mics are totally handmade in the US and use as many American-made parts as possible, making Shaker microphones the real deal. Made in the Arizona desert by harp players, for harp players. more information »
