Equipped with the world's finest Jensen Audio Transformers, the Radial Twin-Iso is a no-excuse problem solver that provides exceptional audio performance while eliminating ground loops. It features 2 +4dB line-level floating channels with XLR input and output connectors for easy interfacing. Nickel-laminated Jensen JT-11P1 isolation transformers and insulated XLRs provide 100% isolation. As a unity-gain device it boasts 10Hz-40kHz response and balanced, 10kohm input impedance.Jensens do not introduce problems such as phase shift or group delay, which can cause bass to sound muddy and indistinct. This is of utmost importance when interfacing advanced line array systems where maintaining phase relationships is paramount to achieving the controlled dispersion pattern. Jensen Transformers are legendary for their warm Bessel curve and for their ability to handle transients without overload or ringing. more information »

The DL241XLR Dual Auto-Compressor incorporates many automatic functions allowing sound engineers to achieve optimum results in minimum set up time. But this Drawmer Compressor doesn't compromise skilled users with limited controls. Its sophisticated design produces a smooth, transparent and warm sonic performance. Facilities available on the DL241XLR include:Expander/Gate Drawmer's unique "Programmed Adaptive Expansion" circuitry allows effective single control operation' producing a fast smooth response and eliminating chatter' on or around threshold. This design differs from that of conventional Expanders in that the Expansion Ratio, Hold Attack and Release continually adapt themselves to the dynamics of the incoming signal. The Expander/Gate provides 80dB range and variable threshold from +20dB to 70dB with an OFF position. Switching is provided for 'Fast' or 'Slow' release characteristics. The 'Fast' mode can be used for instruments with rapid decay times or for additional tightening of the gating effect. The 'Slow' mode is more suitable for vocals and instruments with longer decay times or can be used to smooth over rough fade outs. A single LED indicates gating action.Compressor A full Auto Attack/Release Compressor with variable Threshold and Ratio successfully combines the smoothness of the 'Soft Knee' principle with the precision of a 'Ratio' control. The advantage of this combination is that instead of the onset of compression being sudden at the threshold point the ratio increases over a 10dB input level range until it reaches the ratio set on the front panel control, thus achieving a more natural sounding compression._Selectable manual or fully automatic Attack and Release times dramatically extend the application range and user scope of the DL241. Selecting the 'Auto' mode removes the need for manual adjustment and is particularly valuable when the program being treated do more information »

Amongst audio professionals, Audient equipment is renowned for its ability to provide high performance, transparent sound, and intelligent ergonomic design in a cost-effective package. The ASP008 is a compact, 1U rack mount unit featuring eight ultra-high-quality mic preamplifiers developed from the outstanding mic pre design used in the acclaimed ASP8024 recording console. (The ASP8024 rivals the sound of many "A" room consoles at a fraction of the cost.) If you're looking to add eight great preamps to your studio or portable rig for a remarkably reasonable price, we recommend a close look at the ASP008. The ASP008 also comes with digital output options including ADAT and AES, making it a perfect companion for Pro Tools LE systems. (See the ASP008-ADAT #182031 and ASP800-AES #182032).Audient ASP008 8 Channel Variable Input Impedance Mic Preamp, First Take: 8 channels of ultra-high-quality preamps in 1U chassis Transparent audio with variable impedance for tone shaping Electronically balanced XLR I/O and two instrument DIsEight ultra-high-quality preamps in 1U The one rackspace design uses an 8 transistor discrete Class A front end with extended bandwidth and a noise floor close to the theoretical Johnson limit. (Johnson noise is random white noise generated by thermal agitation of electrons, and is the limiting minimum noise any circuit can attain at a given temperature.) Carefully chosen close tolerance components are used to achieve high Common Mode Rejection at all gain settings (eliminates unwanted RF and electromagnet field-generated noise allowing long cable runs) and distortion is minimized to less than 0.001% at 20dB gain and +10dBu output. This outstanding technical performance delivers a mic amp with incredible transparency and detail without coloration or other unwanted artifacts.Transparent audio with variable impedance Audient's design philosophy as far as sound quality is concerned is to make the most transparent sounding preamps pos more information »
