The AMT P800 Studio microphone system combines the most natural sounding trumpet specific microphone system on the market with the AMT AP40 floor pre-amp. The AP40 converts the microphones to low impedance, it regulates the voltage to each microphone, and with certain models creates a specific frequency curve. The curve is necessary on certain models or instruments in order to maintain the most natural reproduction of sound in conjunction with achieving the most amount of gain before feedback in a live application. The output of the preamp is an XLR Low Impedance balanced output. The output sends signal at Mic Level. The AMT P800 Studio Trumpet microphone system features an element somewhere in size between a small and large diaphragm, which prevents even the loudest of trumpet players to not overload the microphone. AMT has developed their special "Off the bell" clamping system for this model which clamps to the mouthpipe of the trumpet or flugelhorn. The AMT P800 microphone allows the player to easily change to and from AMT different preamps and allows for direct connections to either Shure or Sennheiser beltpack transmitters. With a change in a cable, convert your P800 from a "Studio" style preamp, to a "Belt pack" series model, or to the AMT "W"ireless setups. The microphone is suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. Phantom power or 9Volt battery required. Comes with AP40 floor or "DI" style preamp, hardshell case, and AMT disconnecting cable technology to allow the microphone to be used as "Wireless" or "BP" models if needed. (Additional cables for a variety of setups sold separately. The AMT Interface is also sold separately to allow connections for many wireless systems.) more information »

The XLogic Multichannel Compressor is a 2U rack-mounting six-channel compressor designed to provide extremely flexible control over a 5.1 channel mix, or to be used as two separate compressors when working on stereo material. The compressor design is very similar to that found in the XL 9000 console center section, but with additional controls to provide the flexibility that modern 5.1 productions require. The signal path is balanced and DC coupled through out: this ensures extended bandwidth, low noise and low distortion. This brings the dual benefits of spectacular surround audio performance with a universally acclaimed compressor characteristic. The unit contains two separate compressors. Normally the upper one controls the left, center, right and surround channels and the lower one the LFE channel, but the DUAL STEREO switch reassigns the controls so that the lower set control the surround channels and the upper set control left, center, right and LFE channels. The SIDE CHAIN TRIM controls allow different thresholds to be set for left/right, center, surround and LFE channels. The centet and surround ISO switches bypass the respective compressor channels completely. A six channel Master Fader and Autofade control provide overall level control of the mix.5.1 mixing presents a number of challenges to the engineer that are not present when working in stereo. This is essentially because the signal content can vary hugely between speakers - both in level and frequency content unlike stereo material where the two channels are normally similar in both level and content. This presents a number of potential problems including:•The LFE channel will almost certainly require different attack and release times and different thresholds from the other channels. •Depending on the material you may or may not want some channels to be compressed. •Conversely you may want some channels to be compressed but not to contribute to the overall compression. •You may wan more information »

The Peavey XR 8300 powered mixer features 8 new ultralow-noise mic preamps, subsonic filter to prevent low-frequency problems, and multi-point clip sampling that makes the exclusive DDT speaker protection even more effective. It's equipped with 2 power amps that deliver 300W per each @ 4 ohms and can run in parallel in Dual Main mode-making their full power available to the main output-or used independently in Main/Monitor mode.2 dedicated 7-band graphic equalizers-one each for mains and monitors, with patented FLS (Feedback Locating System) on both-feature multi-Q bandwidths to bring enhanced definition to the low frequencies and assist the FLS algorithm in identifying feedback. The FLS system makes the process of ringing out the room a no-brainer. In the DSP section, a suite of vocal enhancers, delays, reverbs, and other effects with parameter control are assignable to each input channel as well as the main and monitor outputs via independent level controls. more information »

The Aviom A-16R Personal Mixer is a rack-mountable version of the A-16II. With separate balanced left and right audio outputs in addition to the front-panel headphone jack, the A-16R simplifies connections if you're monitoring through unpowered wedges or wireless in-ears Like the A-16II, the Aviom A-16R allows every performer to create a fully customized monitor mix, tailored to their individual needs. The A-16R gives each musician completely independent control over the volume and pan of up to 16 channels, as well as master tone and volume. Each mixer can also store 16 mixes as Presets.Audio is taken from an existing console, using an combination of up to 16 direct outs, inserts, auxes, or groups. These sixteen channels are fed to a Pro16 Input Module, such as the AN-16/i, and are then distributed to an unlimited number of Personal Mixers using Cat-5e cables.Personal Mixers can be daisy-chained or connected in parallel using an A-Net Distributor. Parallel connections also allow power to be supplied to the mixers over the Cat-5e cable. In most cases, the A-16R audio mixer will be placed off stage in a rack, along with amps and transmitter units. By adding the A-16CS Control Surface to the system, you can control your mix remotely from on stage. more information »
