The fp 6400 incorporates Lab Gruppen's Class TD high efficiency amplifier design, which eliminates the heat and cooling problems found in other extreme high power amplifiers. The Class TD amplifiers maintain the same sonic quality as a traditional Class AB amplifiers. Besides the traditionally superb Lab.gruppen sonic performance, FP6400 offers a full line of important features:Regulated switch mode power supply The unique Lab.gruppen switch-mode power supply technology offers a number of essential advantages that make it superior to other and seemingly similar power supply designs. The most important features are the regulated power supply and the extreme power efficiency. The regulated power supply easily deals with a very high variation in the AC mains voltage: it can drop by up to 20% below its nominal level—e.g. to 180 V instead of 230 V—without any problem. Perhaps even greater benefits result from the extreme efficiency of Lab.gruppen amplifiers: only a fraction of the energy from the AC mains is turned into heat. A regulated power supply also presents some other sonic advantages, such as better cone control and the same fast response as a conventional power supply.Multiple positions Gain switch To meet the demands for a flexible gain structure in the system, Lab.gruppen offers a multiple position gain switch. The maximum amplifier gain can be set to all industry standards: 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38 and 41 dB. more information »

The Electro-Voice RE200 microphone is a cardioid, true condenser instrument mic designed for the exacting acoustic reproduction of choirs, strings, percussion and brass instruments in live performance and sound recordings. The RE200 mic is designed to be used in professional remote recordings, sound reinforcement systems, sound studios and motion picture/TV scoring stages. The EV RE200 mic's frequency response has a continuous presence rise to enhance the sound quality. The excellent transient response and smooth frequency response is gently lifted above 1,000 Hz, lending an open, transparent detail to the recorded sound. The RE200 mic's transducer is a true, external biased condenser element based on the RE2000 transducer design. (Most studio recording microphones are true condensers because they have greater sensitivity and stability than an electret element). The EV RE200's diaphragm is ultrathin, gold laminated, environmentally stabilized and ultra-low in mass. The electrode is a precision-cut, single-piece, ceramic disc layered with gold. The transducer is biased by an internal dc-to-dc converter to ensure that its sensitivity and performance is not dependent on phantom voltage. The RE200 transducer is cradled in an AcoustiDYM™ shock-mount system for mechanical isolation. The RE200's electronics are designed to operate from 12 to 52 Vdc phantom power. The RE200 is supplied with the model 311 microphone stand clamp, a zippered vinyl carrying pouch and a Wind Tech™ 5700-12 black external foam windscreen. more information »

The Crest PA 150 is a rugged, medium-power amplifier with features that make it stand alone in the industry. It's a rack-mountable unit which occupies only one rack space, and yet packs a 75 Watts RMS per channel punch into 4, 8, or 16 Ohms. It's selectable; a feature seldom found on the typical solid state amp. In bridge mode, this power amp delivers 150 Watts RMS into 8, 16, and 32 Ohms. (32 Ohms is the load impedance for a 150 Watt, 70 Volt distribution system). There's no fan in the PA 150 to make noise. Adequate cooling is provided by two massive heat sinks. Each channel is protected from excessive operating temperatures with a thermal/fault system that is automatic, and only activates under extreme conditions. more information »
