Like the H3, the H3A uses two stud piece loaded coils for better noise rejection with over-wound coils and a ceramic magnet, but incorporates an Alnico 5 magnet for a warmer sound with a full top end. This pickup uses EMG's traditional solid cover cap in a unique HZ design. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise. more information »

Warms up and smoothes out the sound of 25-1/2 scale trem guitars. More power than a PAF©, but with a finer touch than high-output models. Picking hard generates a lot of voltage, but a softer attack will clean up the sound of an overdriven amp. more information »

The sound of a great vintage Tele bridge pickup - if you can find one - is almost magical. It blends elements that shouldn t be able to coexist: sizzle and warmth, sharp attack, and smooth sustain. In other words, it has depth. Single notes have weight and presence, and chords have detail and dimension. This was the goal for the True Velvet T Bridge. Controlled-tension coil winding, custom wire and hand-calibrated magnets give the True Velvet The real vintage sound, and double wax potting ensures that it s squeal-free.Recommended For: Standard Tele bridge position.Like the Twang King Bridge model, the sonic goal was to combine the best tonal qualities of several Broadcaster and Telecaster pickups from the '50's and early '60's. The difference is the size of the sound. The True Velvet T Bridge is bigger, and there's greater dynamic range, from soft to loud. more information »
