Angela Instruments proudly offers one Lindy Fralin Broadcaster Hybrid 5%/2% Overwound Pickups Set! Set of two hand wound pickups (one bridge, one neck) brand new in the original factory box. Bridge pickup 5% overwound, neck pickup 2% overwound. If you dig the sound of early Roy Buchanan, early Danny Gatton and other country influenced roadhouse virtuosos as much as I do this is about as good as it gets. The bridge pickup has all .632 height level pole piece magnets except for a slightly higher .650" D string magnet for better string balance. In my opinion, bridge pickups like this one work best with 8.5" or greater radius fingerboards. If you've got a rounder fingerboard check out Fralin's "Stock" Tele pickups set.
Other bridge pickup features include black fibreboard coil form, waxed string coil wrap, copper clad steel bottom plate, careful wax potting to reduce microphonics and vintage style cloth covered output leads. The neck pickup sports a traditional chrome plated cover. This set has an RW/RP (reverse wound, reverse magnetic polarity) relationship for hum cancellation and optimum compatibility with both three-way and four-way pickup selector switches. There is a separate ground wire for isolation of the neck pickup cover; this wire simply solders to the main ground point on the back of the volume pot. Mounting hardware is included. BONUS!
