Angela Instruments proudly offers one Lindy Fralin Blues Special Pickups Set! Set of two hand wound pickups (one bridge, one neck) brand new in the original factory box. The bridge pickup, wound to around 7.3K with Polynylon insulated wire was voiced for an agressive sound with just a bit of grit. This bridge pickup employs Lindy's special magnet staggering; the 'D' string manget is .710", the 'G' is .680", all others are .650". This staggering is especially effective with fingerboard radius in the mid 7s to the mid 8s. Other bridge pickup features include black fibreboard coil form, waxed string coil wrap, copper clad steel bottom plate, careful wax potting to reduce microphonics and vintage style cloth covered output leads. The neck pickup, wound to around 7.5K has no cover and was voiced to deliver the punch of a vintage Strat neck pickup. This set has an RW/RP (reverse wound, reverse magnetic polarity) relationship for hum cancellation and optimum compatibility with both three-way and four-way pickup selector switches.
