The BetSet is a replica humbucker, with attached solid nickel-silver cover and braided, shielded pigtail. VERY vintage all the way around. The guy who actually researched that axe says they even seem to compensate for the "old wood" sound of that '58.
This is a complete, tuned set so THERE ARE NO OPTIONS AVAILABLE.
