The Guitar Hangar was founded in October of 1999. After running another music store for a number of years it occurred to me that I was working really hard to make someone else successful. Thus the Hangar was born! Anyone who has ever dealt with me knows that I have an intense desire to succeed and an equally intense desire to deal with the very best instruments available! We have tried both UPS and Fed Ex and have found UPS to be much better. Fed Ex is a nightmare if you have any damage to your package. When your shipping guitars that costs thousands of dollars like we do on a daily basis, it is a real problem when you have a company that will not honor a claim. Collectible guitars fall under the Fed Ex "item of extraordinary value" heading in their policy on damage claims. That means your 30,000.00 PRS Dragon is going to get you a whopping 500.00 if they damage it or loose it. This is not to say that UPS has never damaged or lost a guitar. Both companies have done that with us....the difference is UPS pays their claim. Fed Ex will let you put as much insurance on a guitar as you want and they will charge you for it. Just try to get paid if they damage your guitar. Trust me... we learned this lesson the hard way! I offer this picture as final proof that UPS is better! |

You can return your purchase from The Guitar Hangar in its original condition for an exchange up to 7 Days from receipt of merchandise with no questions asked and no penalty. Shipping, credit card fees and deposits for special orders or layaways are nonrefundable. Special Orders, layaways and consignments are non cancelable and non returnable as we are buying them in advance for you, but we will do our very best to work out any unforeseen glitches! 24hr approvals can be arranged but must be done so in advance. All returns must be arranged in advance with the Guitar Hangar and given a return authorization number.
