This set is one of Lindy's personal favorites for Telecaster and mine as well. If you dig the sound of early Roy Buchanan, early Danny Gatton and other country influenced roadhouse virtuosos as much as I do this is about as good as it gets. The bridge pickup has all .632 height level pole piece magnets except for a slightly higher .650" D string magnet for better string balance. In my opinion, bridge pickups like this one work best with 8.5" or greater radius fingerboards. If you've got a Tele with a rounder board you might want to consider a set with more magnet staggering like Fralin's "Stock" Telecaster pickups set.
Other bridge pickup features include black fibreboard coil form, waxed string coil wrap, copper clad steel bottom plate, careful wax potting to reduce microphonics and vintage style cloth covered output leads. The neck pickup sports a traditional chrome plated cover. This staggering is especially effective with fingerboard radius in the mid 7s to the mid 8s.
