These pickups are copies of the real PAF's in Greg Martin's 1958 Les Paul®. His guitar and it's pickups are nothing short of amazing. Our copies are made by Lindy Fralin and are exact down to the magnetic strength. They are the best low power "PAF" on the market. The bridge pickup reads 7.7k and the neck pickup reads 7.8k. Like Greg says, "While my PAF's may not be the loudest, they'll knock down any outhouse in a mile radius!" These pickups are the only way to go if you want that Pure Kentucky Tone. The True 60's are copies of the most special set of 1960 PAF's we have ever played. These second generation pickups are as close to the tone of the 1960 PAF's you can get without a time machine or $5000! They are copied down to the last detail and each magnet is hand tested in shop to insure they are just like the real deal. Each part is hand aged so not only do they sound old, they look it. If you want a classic, fat PAF tone, these pickups smoke. The bridge pickup reads 8.5k and the neck reads 7.7k. This set comes with aged nickel covers. A set of 4, these knobs are slightly ambered to look like they have been in thousands of bars (cigarette smoke, anyone?)
