The EMG-P5 is just like an EMG-P, except it's sized for 5-string bass instead of a 4-string. The Bass pickup of choice since it was developed, the EMG-P uses short, squat coils that have very little resistance and plenty of inductance. Because the coils are not in series like the passive types, there's about twice as much low end as a passive pickup. Ceramic magnets are used to add clarity. Countless pros use it because they find it has a natural presence, powerful lows, punchy midrange, and superior definition. The 40 watt Slant 6V offers an impressive range of legendary American and British tones, and unprecedented versatility and usable power without sacrificing the warmth, clarity and handbuilt, all-tube tone that are the hallmark of our amplifiers. At the heart of the Slant 6V are two independent, foot-switchable channels: Channel One bridges our shimmering clean tone with gutbucket, overdriven blues, while the dual gain settings on Channel Two offer pure tube crunch, soaring sustain and fluid dynamic response. The Slant 6V can be operated at half-power in cathode bias (18W) or fixed bias mode (22W), yielding tones reminiscent of early tweed and AC-style combos in cathode mode, and a punchier, more tightly defined sound in fixed bias mode. And at full power, the Slant 6V runs four 6V6 output tubes split in cathode and fixed bias pairs, placing every conceivable classic tube tone at your fingertips.

The VH4 has 4 different preamps which can be adjusted absolutely independently. The sound options and basic characteristics are very various and cover all ranges from superclean to ultragain. Channel 1 and 2 are particularly suitable for gritty funk and/or dynamic clean sounds. With the gain structure of these two channels back-to-the-roots blues and vintage sounds can also be produced. Channel 3 and 4 make a further multiplicity of sound options possible, from heavy metal rhythms to high gain leads. Additionally each channel has a switchable insert loop.
The sound controls are very efficient. The lows and trebles are very balanced and leave enough space for warm and cutting mids. The interaction of pre and output stage guarantees an absolutely clean and dynamic sound impression...

The youngest addition to the DIEZEL-Family, the EINSTEIN-COMBO, has 2 channels: Channel 1 has 3 different modes:

Texas (AC30 / JCM 800 Style, not to much gain:"classic" Rock!
Mega (Rock to Heavy Rhythm - lots of balls!)
Channel 2 is named "Lead", and that's what it does: Lots of Gain and tons of SOUND, a typical DIEZEL.
All in all, the soundsof EINSTEIN are somewhat more vintage-oriented than his big brothers.
Additionally, a model with built-in reverb (Acoutronics) is available. The combo is loaded with a Celestion 12" speaker.
Each channel has it's own 3-band EQ, gain and volume control. And as always 2 separate, switchable master gain controls for individual rhythm/lead volume settings.
Obviously, there are also a presence- and a deep-knob.
On the rear are the serial and the parallel FX-jacks as well as the jacks for the footswitches.
The power amp can be equipped with2 EL34, 6550, 6L6 or KT88 tubes and has a power output of 50 Watts.
The footswitches control channel 1/2, master-volumes and toggle reverb on/off (only with the reverb-modell, though :-)
