Vintage Epiphone Casino: USED, 1966 ES-230TD Casino sunburst. Full hollow-body, thinline archtop; double cutaway. This guitar has performed all over the world and has the MOJO to prove it. A gigging musician's axe for many years, he was the 2nd owner. Pickguard removed many years ago and not included. The chrome tuning machines are replacement Schallers that work great. The original holes from the original tuning machines are still present, as are the holes from the pickguard removal. This guitar has Extensive finish checking all over it. The toggle switch knob has been replaced, but all else is original. This guitar was made during the period of time in which Epiphones were manufactured by Gibson in their Kalamazoo, Michigan factory. The back and sides are laminated maple, the neck is mahogany and the fretboard is Brazilian rosewood with single parallelogram inlays. The guitar features 2 single coil metal covered P-90 pickups; tune-o-matic bridge. White bindings, pearloid Epiphone headstock logo. Epiphone E logo on the truss rod cover. Maingard OM Cutaway: WOW! Marc's fancy grade Brazilian rosewood back & sides and a great Carpathian Spruce top. Marc usually reserves this type of Brazilian for his custom orders. Sharp cutaway. The handmade rosette is Ndebele tribal artwork style, using triangular wood pieces of mixed earth tones, in this case orange & brown. Top and back bevels for an extremely comfortable play in Macassar Ebony. The soundhole is also bound in Macassar Ebony. Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge. Rosewood pins/MOP dots. The top purfling and back center strip are the same earthy orange color. Marc's signature handmade heelcap echos this theme. The front & back headstock faceplates are Brazilian Rosewood. The headstock sports Gold Waverly open back tuning gears with Snakewood buttons. The fretboard is bound in Ebony and the entire guitar has a fine, fine orange red purfling line next to the bindings; even around the headstock. Patrick James Eggle Linville: USED, 2005, Near Mint condition. This is a fine OM cutaway with some of the nicest Brazilian we've seen on a guitar under $9000 in a looooong time. This acoustic guitar has old, quarter-sawn Brazilian with spider-webbing and the oh so desirable Green streaks in it. Also a very clean Adirondack spruce top. Gibson LG-2 USED, Vintage 1950 Gibson LG-2. Exc+++ overall condition with lots of wonderful patina and finish crazing. Mahogany back and sides with a Red Spruce top. Traditional sunburst top. Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with pearl dot markers. Brazilian Rosewood straight bridge with pearl dots on wings. Tortoiseshell colored pickguard. Black headstock faceplate with Gibson logo. Appears to be all original, except perhaps the tuning machines, and maybe the saddle. Both may, in fact, be original. Black plastic tuner buttons and endpin. Ivoroid body binding. Wayne Henderson 000-12 fret: 1986, Used, Very Good condition. This extremely rare guitar features Indian Rosewood back and sides with an Apalachian Spruce top. Ebony fretboard with traditional diamond & squares inlay pattern. 1 13/16" nut width. The headstock has a fancy abalone quasi fleur de lis inlay with Wayne's banner logo. Nickel butter bean tuning machines. Wider, 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony bridge, grained Ivoroid bridge pins with black dots. This guitar has quite a bit of wear, with a couple of obvious crack repairs on the treble side, upper bout; which we are told were repairs done by Wayne, himself. The guitar has a tortoiseshell colored pickguard and also a large, clear pickguard covering the other side of the soundhole. The guitar has numerous nicks and dings and finish checks. Herringbone top trim. ZigZag back center strip. Ivoroid body bindings. There is a 1/4" jack in the tail, the only remains of a previous pickup. There is a strap pin in the neck as well. The tone is OLD, full, with strong, solid trebles and tons of volume. Expansive. OHSC included.
