Constructed of what would normally be considered "unconventional" materials, this "deluxe" (color graphics) 3-string (E,A,D) cardboard bass can be played acoustically or plugged-in (yes, there is a custom piezo pickup installed inside the box)! With common household trim molding as a bridge, a finishing nail as a nut, a piece of wood as a neck, screws as the "saddles" and string guides, "Bogdon Whacker" strings, and nuts and bolts as the tuning machines, about the only traditional piece of hardware is the 1/4" input jack.
