The Artist Series amplifier is a magnificent fusion of John Lennon�s music and his art. The series features select Lennon drawings and each is available in a limited, numbered edition of eleven. And each amp is hand-built meticulously by Ben Fargen
Span Lennon�s 60�s Liverpool and 70�s Plastic Ono Band tones through the use of the two-way Decade Switch and enjoy the warmth and depth of best-in-class, boutique amp engineering. The combination of pure White Tolex with a White Grill cloth provides an innovative and unique canvas for John Lennon�s drawings, which now flourish in this work of sonic and visual art.
Fargen uses a specially designed and manufactured grill cloth on which the drawing is printed. Following the same dimensions and hand-crafted wood working techniques, the Artist Series cabinet was born. Its dovetail-jointed solid Poplar cabinet sides and rear panels with a speaker baffle gives this cabinet an incredible tonal advantage over conventional plywood cabinet designs. The result is a warm, natural tone projection that retains all of the vintage vibe of the amplifier.

He has worked with master builder Paul Waller for the past two years on building some of his favorite touring and recording basses. Victoria Amplifier Company announced the Victoria Ivy League as its new addition to their vintage-style amps. The new Ivy League is a recreation of the classic 5F10 Fender Harvard-style amp. Every aspect of the original model is reproduced in the Ivy League, such as triple inputs, 6AT6 7-pin preamp tube, twin 6V6 power tubes, and a single custom 10 speaker. The new amp features all USA-made components, including resistors, capacitors, transformers, wire and hardware. USA-made vacuum tubes are included when available.
The original 5F10's most notable contribution to modern culture is the classic "Memphis" guitar sound. The Ivy League's two 6V6s deliver 14 watts of push/pull vacuum tube power for warm, resonant tone that can explode when pushed to clipping. The unique 6AT6 input tube circuit with triple padded inputs are singular to the amp.

The Direct Drive LG is an “ultimately vintage sounding” version of the Direct Drive, this smooth/sweet version of the Direct Drive was born from a custom order in our custom shop. In Ronni’s customary way he took the challenge to devise a gain scheme that would keep the cool British character of the Direct Drive, while dialing the sound in to just that classic early era of days gone by, where British amps had tube rectification and a sweeter presentation that delivered dynamics and tone; over gain, volume and crunch. Ronni took the custom shop treatment a step further with some nice grey knobs and Green LED to offset the new cool character of this tone connoisseur’s version of the classic Direct Drive.
All the snarl, but clearer and even sweeter with a low gain structure for the “dialed in dynamics player”
Ronni builds each Direct Drive LG by hand and fine tunes them before they leave the custom shop…
