The German Spruce top, Indian RW back and sides, ebony Fretboard, French Polish finish with Florian's Modified cutaway is being offered up for sale.
This one in particular had corners cut everywhere - shaving off all unnecessary material on the braces without reducing their stiffness, thinning the back to make it resonate more, keeping the liners light and so on... Florian was very happy to achieve this weight.
Florian's dream is to make a guitar that is as light as a lute, so somewhere under 1000 grams (2 pounds approximately). And he makes it sound good, of course.

2012 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Beloved 1962 Fender Strat.
Customguitarboutique.com proudly introduces the Thomas S-Custom 62 exclusively available in the USA by yours truly.
The Thomas S-Custom 62 is inspired by the Historic and much loved Strat but it is by no means a 1:1 copy. A simple glance and you will notice the Thomas custom shop was able to capture the visual aesthetics and beauty of the 62, but as you focus in you will notice that this guitar has plenty of modern twists.
Handmade with a stunning European flamed maple neck and (14” Radius) fretboard. The neck is a littlebit wider (43mm at the nut) and parallel to the strings to obtain the "slipping"effect of a slim neck.
The truss rod is by stainless steel (truss rods are made in the custom shop, no store bought rods come out the Thomas custom shop) and put into the neck by cutting and re-glueing the fretboard of the same piece of flamed maple.
The Thomas S-Custom 62 is also one of the most ergonomic guitars we’ve seen in a very long time. From the thinner body to the half-inch radius borders of the body, the contouring on the back, which is curved; the carved cutaway and the slightly angled neck plate alleviate playing in the upper register making her a breeze to play.
The hardware is all top-notch modern muscle parts, consisting of wilkinson tremolo, schaller locking tuners and medium fretwire. The body is thinner than an original stratocaster, The wiring is also not original (not wired like a fender) hand wound pickups in the Thomas custom shop (alnico 5) splittable humbucker at bridge position (push-pull tone pot).
The neck is one fret longer, which produces more sustain and easy access to the trussrod at the end of the neck - instead of weakening the headstock.
The scale is 650mm instead of the 25.5"

This model is currently going for $9500 new. The back is book-matched deep Brazilian rosewood with a gorgeous white flame. It is quick-speaking with a rich, clear balanced tone, even on the higher frets, with fine projection. A very comfortable instrument to play.
It has a Torres body, a custom armrest, and the unusual and useful feature. An excellent player's guitar.
It has one expertly repaired crack in the middle of the 5th and 6th string in the outer part of the bridge which runs down to the lower bout. Repairs were done by master luthier George Youngblood (who does work for Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, etc).

The diameter of this cable is 7 mm. It has a woven spiral wound screen which decreases the microphonics effect and there is a high efficiency of screening .The cable is also double protected by a special tube to give it the maximum lifespan. Even though it is heavily protected, it is one of the most flexible cables on the market in it's class. These combinations provide a cable that doesn't get tangled up and they simply do not break. For longer cables, a velcro system is included to ease and speed up the winding process.

"La Brazilera" from Stuart Mewburn is a traditional classical guitar with a modern twist. Employing the use of Carbon fiber with traditional Spanish construction methods.
"La Brazilera"is made in the traditional Spanish way, top down on a solera (work board). The soundboard is slightly thicker from the bottom of the sound hole up, while the lower bout under the bridge, is the same as many other guitars. At the edges it is somewhat thinner - less than half the thickness under the bridge.
It has radial bracing, where there is a combination of carbon fibre and wood, which is also used under the bridge area. The bridge is much smaller than normal and therefore lighter than standard classical size.
The effect of all this is to let the top vibrate more freely and to lose less of the vibration in the sides. There is carbon fiber meticulously placed around the body of the guitar to prevent splitting.
The end result is a Robust and balanced sounding instrument with plenty of volume suitable for the concert hall.

The Alpine is a 15" full bodied Archtop with a wide 1 7/8ths nut finger style steel string or nylon string acoustic. The Alpine has a 25" scale with a rim depth of 2 11/16ths and crafted of all European body woods. The neck is 3 piece North American maple with a strip of leopard wood.
All the trims, binding, headstock veneer, tailpiece, bridge and truss cover come from the same leopard wood stock. The Ebony fretboard is inlayed with a custom design made with mother of pearl and abalone. The SJ Standard by UK based Hungarian Luthier Balazs Prohaszka brings a fresh look and sound to the world of Handcrafted guitars.
This is by far one of the most well balanced and robust sounding guitars we've seen to date. Employing the use of Exotic materials give this ornate guitar it's unique aesthetic look.
The top is Western Red Cedar from Alaska which give it a nice big warm sound, while the use of back and sides are of exotic madagascar rosewood.
The Neck is brasilian mahogany which is nicely complimented by the brasilian rosewood and flamed maple Rosette. The Bindings consist of maple and madagascan rosewood.
Burr Faceplate (some Australian timber...even balazs is not sure), which is nicely decorated with Mexican abalone inlay and a brasilian rosewood bridge.
The nut width is 44mm (that's 1.73" to our american customers) and the scale length is 25.4".
The nitrocellulose satin finish is one of the nicer features of this guitar, the benefits of nitrocellulose are: flexible, does not dampen the sound as it can be applied very thinly, drawbacks: shrinkage.
Balazs Prohaszka can use other types of lacquer and high gloss finishes.
