20th Anniversary Circuit and Reverb with independent reverb level controls for each channel.
With a new look, added features and newly voiced channels the 20th Anniversary Shiva is the most versatile yet!
Featuring a pair of KT88's the amp is rated at 90 watts.
The clean channel has an entire new boost circuit with it's separate gain stage which unlike the "tone stack bypass" boost on the other Shiva models keeps the tone controls active all the time. With the boost engaged it's extra gain stage lets you dial well into Plexi territory.
The gain channel has overall more gain with a more refined voice on tap. Two push button switches have been added to further shape the tone. The Shift button will shift the EQ, pushed in you get a more "blackface" type of tone, less mids softer feel. One could say it will please the Dumble favoring players. The Mode button if pushed in will give you a more aggressive in your face feel.
A power amp dampening control was added on the back panel. This control is labeled Excursion and is great to dial in a full sound at low volumes or to adjust the right balanced bass to a cabinet and room size. Be carefully as this can add massive bottom to your sound which might overpower other frequencies and cover up an overall balanced sound. Best to keep low at higher volumes. more information »

The Brixton is essentially a high gain design but the combination of gain and volume controls let you dial in semi clean sounds as well.
Gain and Volume Control
These controls dial in the amount of Gain and Volume.
Deep Switch
Engaging the Deep switch will change the sound from tight focused with quick attack to full with increased bass and slower attack.
Voice Switch
The middle position is the normal voicing of the Brixton. Toggle the switch to the right for a brighter open sound, note that the higher the gain is set the less effective this is. If you toggle the switch to the left it will cut the volume, the amount of gain will stay or increase depending on the gain control, the gain structure changes to a more compressed type. Use this mode for bedroom levels or extreme high gain sounds.
Stand By, Hi - Low Power Switch
After you turned the amp on and let the tubes heat up a few minutes you have the choice to switch the amp off Stand by into the Hi or Low position. Hi has the full 4 watts available while Lo has only 2 watts. The difference in loudness is not so much but the amp will feel looser with more harmonics; think of it as a ?variac brown sound? switch, readjust controls to your taste. Handmade in Stevensville, Maryland, the PRS 2 Channel ?H? amplifier has a modern, ?in your face? tone and features proprietary ?Heyboer? transformers. The 2 Channel ?H? is setup with independent master volume, treble, mid, bass, and gain controls with global reverb. The unique lead channel offers powerful, smooth distortion with liquid sustain, while the clean channel has shimmering, clean highs and extensive headroom but can be overdriven at maximum settings. An effects loop with adjustable send and return is also featured on this fixed bias amp. The ?H?s? two 6L6 power tubes produce a fast, articulate amplifier well suited for today?s modern music where alternate tunings are a must.
?These amps are an exciting foray into newer design, tone, and feature territories. My love for single channel amps guided this project from start to finish as I wanted to avoid some of the inherent compromises associated with some switchers. I worked hard on allowing each channel to stand on its own short of building two separate amps in one box and kept it as simple and intuitive to use as possible. It features a mahogany neck, 513 electronics and includes their patented pickup system providing 13 modern and vintage sounds utilizing 5 proprietary single coil pickups. 25th Anniversary appointments include shadow bird inlays, anniversary headstock eagle, and bound rosewood fretboard. Other specifications include a 25 1/4" scale length, a special neck joint and an easy to use integrated electronics control package, which includes volume control, tone control and two blade switches. One blade switch is a 5-way pickup selector, and the other is a 3-way mode switch that allows you to select between the single coil, clear humbucking and heavy humbucking modes.
