With the term TWIN JET, Bogner refers to having two powerful gain channels on tap versus the more traditional clean and gain channel configuration on the standard Uberschall.
Here are the main differences, details are explained below.
Re-voiced clean channel which can deliver semi cleans to hot rodded high gain flavored sounds
Super high gain channel retained but additional flexibility
KT88 power amp section with expanded controls
The new clean channel features the same controls like the standard Uberschall but with an entire new circuit. You will be able to dial in clean sounds but the ability of super clean ones are diminished, while this is true for humbucker equipped guitars with single coils you'll still be able to get fairly clean. In addition, now you can use this channel as a second gain channel. The gain of this channel does not match the super high gain of the other channel, but it will give you the ability to set it anywhere from Semi Clean to Plexi to JCM to Hot Rodded.
The super high gain channel is identical to the standard Uberschall with the exception that the presence control is now in the channel circuit itself rather than the power amp. The power amp presence control from the standard Uberschall is the same as the TwinJet's master presence control, which affects both channels on the TwinJet. So the super high gain channel's presence control is an additional tone and feel shaping control.
The power amp section of the TWIN JET has a quartet of KT88's which runs on higher plate voltage then the standard Uberschall. This gives you a raging 150+ watts with more articulation and quicker response. Control over the power amp was expanded via a depth and presence control besides the master volume control already found on the standard Uberschall. The guitars in the Modern Eagle family embody a tradition of aesthetic and tonal sophistication. This limited run amplifies these qualities, creating an instrument with style and refinement. The woods chosen for this run, including a Private Stock grade top, ribboned mahogany back, and Madagascar rosewood neck and fretboard, are among the finest woods we use, and the modified Celtic inlay was designed especially for this run. With a 5-way blade control providing ample switching possibilities, the pickup configuration (inspired by our earlier Studio model) gives you the versatility of our Narrowfield pickups with the ferocity of a traditional humbucker in the treble position. This limited run also features the PRS Pattern neck shape and V12 finish, which offers a unique, classic feel while enhancing the natural resonance of the wood. Each guitar includes a numbered backplate signed by Paul Reed Smith.

The new Antique Series is collaboration between Suhr Guitars and J Black, the ex-Fender Custom Shop master builder who came up with the aging process concept. J Black sprays the thin nitro-cellulose lacquer finish on the guitars' bodies and necks and apply his proprietary aging process to give it that Antique look and feel.
Suhr introduced the Antique Classic at the 2007 NAMM in Anaheim and these guitars were undoubtedly the talk of the show at the Suhr booth. Thin lacquer finish with J Black's painstaking aging process combined with the vaunted Suhr playability, pickups and the SSC technology truly provided the best of all worlds. People could not keep their hands off these guitars. It feels really old and broken in but it plays and sounds like a brand new Suhr Custom guitar. The SSC included in these guitars was the icing on the cake for the tone connoisseurs: great vintage tone without the noise!

Stunning Brand New PRS NF3!!! First one that we received and we knew these would be nice, but didn't know it was going to be this nice. Gorgeous Flame on the Back of the Neck and Headstock with Figured Korina Body unlike we have ever seen before. Korina is normally quite plain looking, this one though has some very nice Figure and even some Flame to it. Gold hardware finishes it off for a very classic guitar. Weighs in at 7 pounds 15oz. The buck doesn't stop there, guitar sounds great too! The Narrowfield pickups combined with the Korina Body give it a hybrid Fat Stratocaster type tone all the way to a P-90 Les Paul type tone but with more harmonic complexity. To put it simply, it's one amazing instrument.
Named after its versatile pickup configuration (3 pickups paired with a 5-way blade switch), the NF3 utilizes the modern pickup technology of PRS Narrowfield pickups. Narrowfields use the same wire as PRS?s coveted 57/08 pickups, but are narrower pole-to-pole and deeper front-to-back. The result is a new sounding pickup system with exceptional clarity. Suhr is excited to officially announce the new Guthrie Govan Signature Antique Modern. This is a guitar that turned out better than Suhr could have hoped for. The particular combination of Basswood/Maple body in thin and aged nitro-cellulose lacquer, the 510 bridge with vintage-style bent saddles, and the Roasted Maple neck give the guitar a HUGE yet articulate and punchy tone that has to be heard to be believed.
The Roasted Maple process for the neck wood, like the previous Vulcanizing process, is cooking the wood in oxygen-free oven at 250 degrees or so and removes moisture and all sorts of other "impurities" that would normally take hundreds of years from the wood. So the wood becomes exceptionally dense, stable and also imparts a big brilliant sound with a strong attack and definition. It looks and feels amazing as well. You have to remember that the neck contributes 50~55% of the overall acoustic character of the guitar.

With a new look, added features and newly voiced channels the 20th Anniversary Shiva is the most versatile yet!
Featuring a pair of KT88's the amp is rated at 80 watts.
The clean channel has an entire new boost circuit with it's separate gain stage which unlike the "tone stack bypass" boost on the other Shiva models keeps the tone controls active all the time. With the boost engaged it's extra gain stage lets you dial well into Plexi territory.
The gain channel has overall more gain with a more refined voice on tap. Two push button switches have been added to further shape the tone. The Shift button will shift the EQ, pushed in you get a more "blackface" type of tone, less mids softer feel. One could say it will please the Dumble favoring players. The Mode button if pushed in will give you a more aggressive in your face feel.
A power amp dampening control was added on the back panel. This control is labeled Excursion and is great to dial in a full sound at low volumes or to adjust the right balanced bass to a cabinet and room size. Be carefully as this can add massive bottom to your sound which might overpower other frequencies and cover up an overall balanced sound. Best to keep low at higher volumes. more information »
