I Just LOVE Supros!
Apart from the fact that it just looks so damn cool, this thing sounds awesome and practically plays itself! Plenty of life left in the frets with a nice round, chunky neck, low action, and a great sounding pickup! A crack in the pickguard, missing headstock logo, and a few dings, otherwise super clean.

Here's another one for the players. As you can see, there was one a major neck repair down near the heel. It ain't pretty, but it's solid as a rock.
Plays great and sounds amazing! beautiful flame on the back, but really, this is a totally rock solid player's guitar, made in Germany in the golden years of Hofner. George Harrison played one, and even a young Jimmy Page sported one of these baby's.

Here we have a transitional version of the classic Gibson EB-O bass.
The slotted headstock, no "Made in USA" and lack of volute, are all features of a 1969 model, although the serial number and finish would place it in 1970. The volume pot was changed and the tone pot, which appears to be original, is unreadable. So there you have it. What's really important is that it's light as a feather, sounds as fat as it should be and plays nice. Comes with original Gibson hard case more information »
