Eric Johnson Stratocaster White BlondeBased on a '57 Strat with a maple fretboard. After years of painstaking research and design, the Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster Electric Guitar has finally arrived. Designed with Eric by Custom Shop guru Michael Frank-Braun, this beauty is based on a '57, and combines the best of vintage design with modern electronics technology. The '57-style, 2-piece alder body has an ultrathin, Custom Shop-quality nitrocellulose lacquer finish that results in better resonance. Johnson opted for a one-piece, quartersawn maple neck with a 12"" radius that's finished with a thin-skinned glossy lacquer and vintage tint. 19 prototype pickups were created before Johnson found the tone he was looking for. The Custom Shop-modified single coils use a new wire material and winding technique for the magnets giving them a unique, Eric Johnson-approved sound. Johnson and Braun also included one of Eric's most famous Strat modifications by wiring the tone controls to the neck and bridge pickups, instead of the standard neck/middle tone configuration of most Strats. This guitar offers tonal perfection thanks to the discerning ear of one of the best players to ever pick up an axe. And it's pleasing to the eye as well, with its large arm contour, '57-style pickguard and shallow pickup cavities, plus thin headstock with vintage staggered tuners that eliminate the need for a string tree. Unbelievable Custom Shop-like quality in a production axe. Eric Johnson Stratocaster White Blonde Features: '57-style, 2-piece alder body Body cavities true to '57 specs One-piece, quartersawn plain maple neck Thinner, vintage-style headstock 12"" radius American Series-style frets Staggered vintage machine heads eliminate string tree Thin neck cap Bone nut Custom Shop-modified single-coil pickups Master volume, neck tone, and bridge tone controls Vintage tremolo with silver painted block '57-style string recess Thin nitrocellulose lacquer more information »

SKU: D35-----with pro set up!
Here for sale is the legendary Martin D-35. The D-35 is one of the most recognizable and often played gutiars of all time. The classic combination of spruce and rosewood hardly even requires a description of its tonal qualities. The 1/4"" bracing yields a more balanced tone then the D-28 making it a great guitar for rhythm strumming. However, the D-35 makes a great finger picking or flat picking guitar as well. All solid woods, a traditional hand fit dovetail neck joint, a high gloss old school lacquer finish, and bone saddle & nut are just a few of the features unchanged for a reason for nearly 100 years. It's appearance is quite refined and lacks the cosmetic appointments its D-42 & D-45 counterparts, but the recipe for tone and projection are all there. A simple rosette and 3 ply binding is all the flash you get. This is a brand new guitar with that comes with a hard shell case and limited lifetime warranty. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about this guitar!About the Guitar:The Standard Series is really the foundation of the entire line of Martin guitars. Historically every instrument we build today has evolved, in some degree, from these classic Martin designs, especially the Dreadnought. The large ""Dreadnought"" sized body, originated by Frank H. Martin and Oliver Hunt in 1916, is the most widely imitated guitar model in the world. Since its introduction in 1931, the Martin D-28 has remained the standard by which all large-bodied, steel-stringed acoustic guitars are measured. Standard Series guitars feature solid wood top, back and sides, polished gloss finish and hand-fit dovetail neck attachment.Specs:Lengendary Tone! more information »

Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Electric Guitar Faded Cherry 60's Neck - 33034/17As Good As It Gets! Epiphone's history and association with Les Paul dates way back to the days when Les, working at the Epiphone factory on 14th St. in New York, created the world's first electric guitar. Over the years, Les continued to work closely with Epiphone by reviewing new product ideas and offering suggestions. The NEW Epiphone ""Tribute"" Les Paul Standards honor that relationship by combining ""as good as it gets"" performance and features with legendary Epiphone quality and value. At the heart of the ""Tribute"" Les Paul is construction. Tribute LP's feature a solid Mahogany back with a solid, carved hard Maple cap to create the ultimate combination of warmth and bite. Everyone knows that set-neck guitars provide the best rock tone and sustain and the ""Tributes"" take that to the next level featuring the original ""deep set"" neck joint. The solid Mahogany neck with hand-fitted, glued-in joint extends well into the neck pickup cavity creating maximum neck-to-body contact and acting almost like one continuous piece of wood. Combined with the Mahogany/Maple body, the result is a tribute to Les' timeless guitar design with the sound that you can only get from a Les Paul. The newer Asymmetrical neck has multiple radii and combines a more rounded ""D"" shape on the bass side of the neck with a flatter ""C"" shape on the treble side. This leads to a very comfortable neck that more ergonomically contours to fit the hand of most players. But quality construction and premium woods are only part of the equation. Capturing all the power and nuances of the ""Tribute"" is a pair of authentic Gibson USA '57 Classic humbucking pickups. With its ""Patent Applied For"" decal on the base plate, the '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus are faithful replicas of the famous Gibson humbuckers that helped define the music of the late 1950s. The '57 Classic gives you a tone that is warm and subtle with full more information »

FSR American Standard Lipstick Stratocaster Torino RedThe Fender FSR Lipstick Stratocaster solidbody electric guitar is a serious looker. For this limited-run axe, Fender took an American Standard Strat - juicy playability and all - and loaded it with a trio of bright 'n' jangly Seymour Duncan Lipstick Tube pickups in a 4-ply aged White Pearl pickguard. Lipstick tube pickups - once the sole provenance of the humble Danelectro - have graced the notes of innumerable guitarists with their open, shimmering tone.If you ever caught Led Zeppelin live - or on YouTube, you've undoubtedly seen Jimmy Page wielding his trusty Danelectro. The pups crankin' out the tone Lipstick tubes. The humble ""Dano"" was originally an inexpensive budget guitar, but it wasn't long before ace guitarists discovered its quirky, off-the-beaten-track sound - a function of its hollow Masonite body and lipstick tube pickups. These pickups sport an extremely simple design: no pole pieces, no bobbin - just wire wrapped around a bar magnet, living inside a metal tube. In a solidbody guitar - like the FSR Lipstick Strat - lipstick tubes produce a tighter, drier sound, with more chime and jangle. The Fender FSR Lipstick Strat gives you serious sustain, courtesy of its all-metal, copper-infused high mass bridge block with bent steel saddles with elongated string slots. The result is a two-point floating vibrato bridge / tailpiece that serves up sustain like a hardtail. If you love your whammy, but aren't too fond of wimpy sustain, you're going to love the Fender FSR Lipstick Strat. An undercoat serves to give the paint a smooth surface to adhere to so you have a nice looking finish. The thicker the undercoat, the more glass-like the finish, but the more constricted the guitar's body wood, which could affect tone. Fender has switched to a new undercoat that is thinner, and that allows the body to flex and resonate more, while retaining the cosmetic advantages of an undercoat.
